EcoTrend Shipping & Delivery Policy
At EcoTrend, we aim to deliver your order efficiently and safely. By placing an order with EcoTrend, you agree to the following delivery terms and conditions.
1. Order Processing
- Orders are typically prepared for dispatch within 1 business day after payment has cleared.
- Orders placed on weekends or public holidays will be processed on the next business day.
- Once your order is dispatched, tracking details will be emailed to you where available.
2. Delivery Fees
- Free delivery is offered to metropolitan areas of Sydney, Melbourne, Brisbane, Adelaide, Canberra, and the Gold Coast.
- For all other regions, competitive delivery fees will be calculated and displayed at checkout.
3. Delivery Partners
EcoTrend may use a combination of:
- Our internal delivery team, and/or
- External courier companies and third-party transport providers such as Hunter Express, Allied Express, TNT, or other logistics partners.
By placing an order, you acknowledge and agree that delivery may be completed by third-party carriers, and EcoTrend cannot control their exact delivery timing, handling procedures, or operational constraints.
4. Delivery Method & Authority to Leave
Unless otherwise agreed in writing:
- Deliveries are ground floor / doorstep / garage delivery only.
- Drivers are not required to enter the property.
- Delivery may occur during business hours, evenings, or late at night, depending on the courier route and scheduling.
If a safe place is visible at the delivery address, the driver may:
- Leave the goods at the front door, porch, garage, or other accessible area, and
- Record the delivery as completed.
By placing an order, customers authorize EcoTrend and its delivery partners to leave goods at the delivery address without a signature if it is deemed safe to do so.
Once goods are delivered to the property, responsibility transfers to the customer.
EcoTrend is not responsible for loss, theft, weather damage, or incidents occurring after delivery.
5. Delivery Conditions
- Deliveries are made to ground floor access points only.
- Indoor delivery, upstairs delivery, or room placement may be available upon request and may incur additional fees.
- Clear and safe access must be available for delivery vehicles and drivers.
If access is restricted or unsafe, the driver may:
- Leave the goods at the nearest safe location, or
- Reschedule the delivery (additional charges may apply).
6. Bulky & Heavy Items
Many EcoTrend products are large or heavy furniture items.
Customers must ensure:
- Adequate space is available for delivery, and
- Appropriate assistance is arranged if they intend to move the furniture inside the property.
EcoTrend and its delivery partners are not responsible for moving goods inside the property unless an inside delivery service has been specifically purchased.
7. Optional Service: Unpack & Rubbish Removal
Customers may select “Unpack & Remove Rubbish” as an optional service.
This service includes:
- Removal of external packaging materials such as cardboard and plastic wrapping.
Important conditions:
- This service does not include indoor placement, lifting, or assembly unless separately arranged.
- EcoTrend may complete this service at the time of delivery or at a later scheduled visit, depending on logistics and delivery conditions.
- If the customer is unavailable at the time of delivery, EcoTrend may return at a later stage to perform the unpacking and rubbish removal service.
8. Assembly & Installation
- Most products require self-assembly and include instructions.
- Assembly or installation services may be arranged upon request and subject to additional fees.
- These services are scheduled separately and may not occur at the same time as delivery.
9. Missed Delivery or Customer Unavailability
If the customer is unavailable at the time of delivery, EcoTrend may:
- Leave the goods at the premises if a safe location is available, or
- Reschedule delivery (additional fees may apply).
Customers are responsible for ensuring the delivery location is accessible and safe.
10. Customer Responsibility & Safety
Furniture items can be heavy and require proper handling.
Customers acknowledge that:
- Moving furniture without appropriate assistance may cause injury.
- EcoTrend delivery services do not include moving items inside the property unless explicitly purchased.
EcoTrend and its delivery partners shall not be responsible for any personal injury, property damage, or loss occurring after goods have been delivered.
11. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law:
EcoTrend shall not be liable for:
- Any personal injury occurring after delivery
- Damage resulting from customer handling, moving, or assembly of products
- Indirect or consequential damages arising from delivery delays or access limitations
12. Stock Availability
While we strive to maintain accurate inventory levels, occasional discrepancies may occur.
If an item becomes unavailable after purchase, EcoTrend will offer:
- A replacement product, or
- A full refund.
13. Delivery Timeframes
Estimated delivery timeframes for in-stock items:
- Metro Areas: 3–5 business days
- Regional Areas (within 300 km): 5–7 business days
- Interstate Deliveries: 7–14 business days
These are estimates only and may vary due to logistics, weather, or peak seasonal demand.
